Dr. Ir. Tri Nugroho, MA is a forester as well as an anthropologist, with various experiences in the professional world and activism. A career of more than 20 years in environmental and forestry issues, as well as rights-based development, in various non-profit organizations, donors and international cooperation projects. He currently serves as Program Director of the Multistakeholder Forestry Program phase 4 (MFP4), a bilateral collaboration between the Government of Indonesia (Ministry of Environment and Forestry) and the Government of the United Kingdom (FCDO).

Wibowo A. Djatmiko has the capacity and experience to carry out research on the ecology of wildlife (especially birds and herpetofauna), and forest ecology in general, including the ecology of community forests. Experienced as an independent consultant specializing in wildlife ecology, in forestry, mining and transmigration Amdal (environmental impact analysis) studies, as well as the assessment of ecolabel certification for production forests and community forests.

Kasmita Widodo is a civil society movement activist who advocates and strengthens institutions in the implementation of recognizing and protecting the rights of indigenous peoples and local communities in Indonesia. In 2004-2021, Dodo was active in the Participatory Mapping Network (JKPP) as program manager, national coordination and JKPP national council. A graduate of the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), since 2010 until now he has served as the Head of the Customary Territory Registration Agency (BRWA). An institution for registration of customary territories in Indonesia. In addition, from 2013 until now, Dodo has been the Coordinator of the Indonesian ICCAs Working Group (WGII), a coalition consisting of several national NGOs that promote the conservation practices of indigenous peoples and local communities at the national and international levels.

Ani Nawir

Member

Ani Adiwinata Nawir is a socio-economic and forest policy scientist. He coordinates landscape governance research, focusing on how to operationalize the landscape approach on the ground by developing an inclusive business model (IBM) based on NTFPs. Development of Timber and Non-Timber Forest Product Production and Market Strategies for Improving the Livelihoods of Smallholders in Indonesia. He also has extensive experience in facilitating and leading private sector communication forums, which work as a forum for companies to exchange experiences in developing community-company partnership schemes. He completed his PhD at the Australian National University (ANU).

Suporahardjo is an alumni of the Faculty of Forestry UGM who is familiarly called Lek Hang and is active in the field of journalism. He then formed a learning community called "Tanoker". In addition to Tanoker, Supo as the initiator of this community has also received many awards, the NGO sector Achievement Forester Award (2011), Jember Rising Pioneer in the Arts and Culture (2016), to Outstanding Artist for the Development of Arts and Culture in East Java (2016) and won the Festival Indonesia's 2017 Achievement in the Social Activist category. For his achievements, achievements, and contributions as UGM alumni, on the eve of the 2018 UGM Achievement Person Award, Suporaharjo won the Cultural Conservation category. Previously, Supo had entered the sociopreneur category in the 72nd Indonesian Independence Day Contest.

Dwi Rahmad Muhtaman also well known as DRM is currently serves as the Chairman of the LATIN Foundation. His main interest has been on social issues including when he was active as part of executing team of LATIN. He has has been working on sustainability issues for more than 25 years. He loves traveling and writing. He writes articles on sustainability, community forestry and others. DRM works as professional on sustainable development of natural resources in Indonesia and the region. DRM is co-founder of Remark Asia, a sustainability consulting enterprise to promote sustainability and working in partnership with clients and potential supporters of sustainability.

Thomas Oni Veriasa

Executive Director

Thomas Oni Veriasa has more than 15 years of experience in sustainability issues. He works as a researcher and individual expert consultant for several international donor agencies, the Government, Universities, National/International NGOs and the Corporate Sector. Some specific experience related to multi-stakeholder work in environmental management was obtained when he became the Dieng Partner Coordinator (1999-2003) in the Strengthening Civil Society in the Implementation of Regional Autonomy (village) funded by CSSP USAID. Thomas is also a researcher at P4W LPPM IPB, and is an active writer of scientific papers in reputable international journals (Scopus).

Febri Sastiviani Putri Cantika

Deputy Director

Febri Sastiviani Putri Cantika is a researcher, artist and entrepreneur who has 15 years of experience in issues of The Commons, Resource Management, Community Organizing and Regional Planning. Participatory work and community assistance in resource management have been carried out since joining the P4W-LPPM IPB University. Collective work is carried out by initiating a number of communities and resource management working groups, and has been active in various associations such as the IASC, RRPG, and became the Jabodetabek Presidium of the Indonesian River Congress. One of the achievements was the Youth Pioneer on Art, Culture and Tourism in Bogor City in 2009. Cantika has contributed to writing books, modules and scientific writings related to resource management and participatory approaches in working with the community.

Firman Dwi Yulianto, S.Hut, a graduate from Silviculture Study Program, Faculty of Forestry and Environment, IPB University who has just discovered his interest in the world of forestry, especially in the context of Social Forestry. Started his career by working in a private forestry consultant in Bogor and eventually became interested in taking part in the world of non-governmental organizations, the Indonesian Tropical Nature Institute.
