We have a new opportunity to join as a decision panelist for Policy for Association complaints.March 9, 2021 Share With Friends

We are looking for a pool of 6 – 9 panelists who collectively have experience in reputation management, dispute resolution and analysis of social and environmental harm to join our newly established decision panel for FSC’s Policy for Association.

The Policy for Association sets out FSC’s position on unacceptable activities in forests and supply chains that organizations associated with FSC, such as certificate holders and FSC members, must avoid. FSC takes action against organizations found to be in breach of this policy, setting conditions for improvement and remedy or excluding organizations from participation in the FSC system.

The decision panel will review evidence of breaches of this policy, decide on conditions for improvement, or recommend that organizations should be excluded from the FSC system. In addition to the relevant professional experience, prospective panelists should have a high level of integrity and a desire to reach consensus on controversial issues.
